Step One: You Probably Don't Need To Do Anything Here!

Assume at first that you have it. If you later find that you cannot download the package, you probably just need to download the free reader, which will enable you to read this and numerous other documents available in pdf format!

Here's how to download the Adobe Reader if you find that you don't have it. (Remember, skip to Step Two at first, as you probably already have this!)

This is a FREE download. After downloading, install it by clicking on the icon that appears on your desktop after the download. Adobe has a great help file. If you need help with Adobe, make sure to click the help link. Click on the link below to go to the Adobe Download Center.

Step Two: Download Your Gift

"Right Mouse Click" the red "Download" button below, or right click this link. You'll see a menu open up that says:

Save Target As...
(Mac users can just click the link)

In Internet Explorer, Choose "Save Target As..." and download the file to your desktop (In Netscape you choose "Save Link As..." (AOL users can follow these same basic steps).

Once you select one of these options, a Microsoft download screen appears, asking you where you would like to save the file to on the computer.

On the top bar of this download screen, you can scroll to save the document on your Desktop. Do not change the file name at the bottom of the screen.

Step Three: When the file is downloaded, go to your desktop (what you see when you turn the computer on with all the icons), and double click with your mouse to open the course. This will launch Adobe and show you the book automatically.

Troubleshooting: The file does not open up for you when you click on it.

Take the following steps: 1) Open the Adobe Acrobat reader by clicking "Start">"Programs">"Adobe Acrobat">"Acrobat Reader" 2) Once this is opened, click "File">"Open">>then go to your desktop (if you saved the file there) and open up the file named real-estate-success-package.pdf. This will open up the ebook file in your Adobe Reader.

Troubleshooting: If you do not see the file on your desktop or if you can't find the file...

Just click on your "Start" button at the lower left part of your screen. Then click on "Search."

Select "All Files and Folders"

Enter the file name as: real-estate-success-package

Troubleshooting: Error Message — Corrupted File

This does not mean that anything is wrong with the file on our end. It means that when you were downloading, part of the data did not transfer due to phone/cable line conditions. To solve this problem, simply try to download the file again. If you get this message a few times, you might want to try and download at a non-peak usage time, early in the morning or later at night.

Step Four: Print Your Free Package

To print, you can print the entire document by clicking on the print icon on the Adobe toolbar. If this causes your screen/computer to lock up, you should click on the "file" button>"print." Select a narrow range of pages. Typically printing the course 20 pages at a time will allow even older printers to handle the job. If you have lock-up problems, sometimes the best thing to do is turn off your printer and restart your computer. Try again with a smaller number of pages.
